What is MIS/supply chain

Supply Chains consist of different supply chain actors: 1.Farmers, 2.CP (Collection Points), 3.Processor, 4.Retailers, and 5. Consumers.

The data that is added by the supply chain actors is safely protected in the database.

The list of those records will be also be grouped by month. Such a list with all records from farmers which are grouped will give the farm extension service a great overview of what to consult to each farmer.

The Supply Chain Manager has access to reports that are generated from farmers, CP, and the processor in order to mediate business relationship between processor and retailer.

The External Auditor has access to view how the products are produced from farmer to consumer. The MIS is a traceability-system and also an ICM (Integrated Control Management)-tool to certify a food product more efficiently. And the MIS will also help the supply chain to comply to certication standards because besides the External auditor; the supply chain actors can also select and disapprove suppliers/counterparts.
