Quality standards for Macadamia Nuts in Shell

1. Traceability

All purchases of NIS (nuts in shell) must be recorded by the CP-manager (collection point) via this website in order to keep traceability for the food safety standards.

2. Universal quality standards

For every purchase of NIS the CP-manager will assess if the NIS is free of certain flaws (see them in form/detail view).

3. Price standards and quantities

The CP-manager weights the quantity of MIS in grams and sets the kg-price of MIS in local currency.

Only CP-managers can add NIStransactions in the database, but farmers can view them in a list and add some information which CP-managers can't: Farmers can link their calendar month report to the record that is associated with transaction. This increases traceability from cultivation practice in detail onwards.

Privacy

All data in the database is protected and only visible for certain usersgroups. Within each usergroup there are also privacy policies: A farmer can only view his own calendar months, transactions, and crop lifespans. And a collection point can only see its own transactions and not those of other collection points.
